The historical center of Berat is a touristic highlight and a UNESCO World Heritage site in Albania. In Berat's old city center, you can see the white houses that were built on the hillside. From the bottom of the hill, it looks as if the white houses are stacked on top of each other, with their windows looking down on the valley.
